Wii Have Fun With Family:

(Just found these from, oh, you know, Thanksgiving.  Still worth posting...)

Alanna playing the Wii with cousins Jackson and Savannah.  She has so much fun being with bigger kids.  She tries so hard to act they do and talk like they do.  She thinks Savannah hung the moon.  We still talk about her to this day on a weekly basis.

 

  

I'm so glad my sweet cousins were so good to let Alanna play along and have fun.  I remember doing the same for them once upon a time.  =)

Xavier Ray:

Alanna helped me babysit for a friend's little boy named Xavier Ray.  They call him X-Ray. =)

She loved being a big helper.  She had so much fun holding his bottle, bringing his paci when he cried, and even holding him (with help) on the couch.  She wasn't interested in helping change his diaper, but she did have one question for me..."Mom, why does he have a tail?"  OOPS!!!!!!

Monkey Monday:

Jonah died yesterday. =(  We didn't even have him a week.  Alanna is so sad.

Friday Funnies:

A week or so ago, Alanna was sick and throwing up. (I just have to say, THANK GOD she is old enough to tell me and to hit the can every time!  WOO!  Three cheers for not having to scrub up chunks out of the carpet!)  She was to the point of dry heaving and she was miserable.  Between each attempt, she would cry to me, "Mommy, my throw up is being mean to me!  It won't come out of me!  Why is it being mean mom?  Make it come out!"

Poor sweet girl.  

It was both funny and tragic at the same time.

Meet Jonah:

 The newest member of the Brown family.  He is a bright blue Betta.  If you look really closely, you'll see a brown snail under the fake plant.  His name is Pistachio.  Alanna thinks it's the FUNNIEST thing that he eats the fish poop. =)

As you can see, she is super duper excited about her newest pet.  She will stand and talk to him for a long time.  As long as momma doesn't have to feed it, do extra laundry, scoop poop, or bath it...I'm good.

Monkey Monday:

She wants a baby SO BADLY!  Only problem....SHE wants to have it! HAHA.

Friday Funnies:

I made some Italian soup for supper and it has zucchini in it.  When I served it to Alanna, she made a grimacing face at the sight of the "green things" floating in her bowl.  I told her she HAD to try it before deciding she didn't like it.  I said "It's called zucchini and it's yummy!"  She took a micro bite and then exclaimed loudly, "Mommy, I can't like bikini!  No bikini for me please!  It's yucky!"

My sentiments exactly sweetie...bikini's ARE yucky and I can't like them either. =)
