Two True Stories:

I have two stories that happened yesterday and I just couldn't wait until Friday to share them.

#1 - Alanna and I were at Hobby Lobby today and we saw two Monks (<----is that word supposed to be capitalized?  Help me out mom.) in their traditional brown robe thingies.  Alanna points at them and says, "Mommy, boy dress!"  YIKES!  I didn't know what to say because 'technically' it is a dress sort of.  We turned and walked away quickly.

#2 - We turn out all the lights in our house about 30 minutes before Alanna's bed time.  She came to me in the living room and handed me something and said "here mommy."  I didn't know what it was so I sniffed it to see if it was food.  No smell.  I squished it in my fingers trying to figure out what it was.  I finally said "Alanna, what did you give mommy?"  She said "boog."  I still didn't get it so I asked her where she found it and she said "Lanna's nose!"  GAH!  So thankful at that moment I didn't try to taste it!!!!

I cannot wait to share these stories with her when she is older and can understand them.

She cracks me up EVERY day.

  1. I teach English and I'm not sure about capitalizing monks. But, that is SUPER funny. We saw a girl with terrets at Target one day and at first I thought she just had hiccups but then I realized her whole body was shaking when it happened. Bailey said "Mommy, why does that lady have hiccups so loud?" AAHH! I told Zach just last night that Bailey makes me laugh EVERY day! She now thinks there are 2 babies in my tummy!
