We went to visit some friends that had just gotten a German Shepherd puppy. He's still under a year old, but he's already a good 70lbs. Alanna was cautious around him but didn't have much fear. When she tried to pet him, he got really excited and jumped up on her and knocked her over. =( Alanna went down and hit her face on some wood and split her chin up really badly. Her gums and teeth were bleeding too.
She cried.
Later that night in the bathtub she told me that she is a tough girl and that she would be fine and that she also forgave Hunter because he was just a puppy and didn't mean to hurt her.
Sweet girl.
