A: Mom, why do I have to use a car seat?  

Me: It's because you are small and need to be safe. 

A: But how much longer do I have to use it?

Me: Probably until you are ten or so.  I guess about six more years.

A:  UGH!!!!  I don't like that.  How much longer until I'm sixteen years old?

Me: About twelve more years.  Why?

A: Because then I can drive and I won't need a car seat!  I CAN'T WAIT for twelve more years!!!!!
