Alanna's friend Gavin had a birthday party last weekend. She talked about it for a week and couldn't wait to go. A lot of her 'school' friends were there too.
She 'helped' him blow out the candles from across the table, and she was literally in his lap while he was opening gifts!!! It was too funny. She said things like "Whoa, cool! That's so neat! Oh I want that!" when he was opening up monster trucks and super hero stuff. She was the only girl that cared. I just couldn't stop laughing.
She and Gavin had so much fun swinging this way!
Last night at dinner, Alanna asked if we could sing the "happy birthday" song and when I told her it wasn't anyone's birthday, she came back with 'let's just sing it to me for fun!" HA!
